Resume

Brief Intro

I am a currently a graduate student in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Compute Science at UC Berkeley. My advisor is Professor Kannan Ramchandran, and I am part of both BASiCS lab and Wireless Foundation. I received my Masters of Engineering (EECS) and Bachelors of Science (ESE) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in June 2002.

Research

My main area of interest is Signal Processing, and more specifically image and video processing. I am particularly interested in the issues involved in multi-camera networks (e.g. video compression in multi-camera networks) as well as their possible applications. I am also investigating the automatic extraction of information from visual data, in particular compressed video, by combining signal processing and machine learning techniques.
